Guidelines for Poster

GUIDELINES FOR POSTER PRESENTATION

After receiving confirmation of abstract acceptance, the presenters should prepare their presentations in poster format according to the guidelines. Please read the guidelines carefully below:

Size of the Poster

The poster should be in 23.39 (L) x 33.11 (H) inches and A1 potrait orientation. 

Font and letters

Poster should be clear, simple and legible from a distance of 1-2 meters. The size of the font should be at least 20pt.

Order of presentation

1. Authors may customize the layout, font type, text and background color.

2. It is suggested that the poster are arranged into the following headings:

• Title of the paper

• Name of authors and affiliation

• Abstract

• Introduction

• Objectives

• Methodology

• Results and Discussion

• Conclusion and Recommendation

• Acknowledgement

• References

Tables and graphs

Tables and graphs must be clearly presented. Wise choice of clolors for the symbols and lines produces good presentation.

Figures and photographs

Figures and photographs are encouraged because they add interest and save words, but they must be of appropiate size.

3. The poster number will be provided to the presenter after the abstract has been processed.

4. The posters should be put up right after registration on Day 2 of the conference to ensure smooth judging and viewing. Note: Poster board and velcro will be provided.

5. Poster presenters should be MINDFUL of the judging sessions and BE PRESENT; kindly refer to the tentative program in the Abstract Book.
